EPOXY ADHESIVE FAST SET

 Urochem 305 is a filled, thixotropic, solvent free, epoxy adhesive. It has been specifically designed for mortar patching and as a general-purpose adhesive in the construction industry. It is characterised by a good working life and a rapid cure.

Where the concrete is porous or for use in water retaining structures, prime with Urochem 101. Allow the solvent to evaporate from the primer for at least twenty minutes before application of Urochem 305. Apply the compound with a spatula or trowel. The surface may be smoothed using a steel trowel wetted with water. Bonded surfaces should be kept under compression until the epoxy has set.

• Contains organic solvents which are flammable. Do not use in confined spaces. Ensure adequate ventilation and the absence of any ignition source. Wear protective clothing. In case of eye contact wash well with water and obtain medical advice.

• All surfaces to be clean, sound, and dry, and free from any oils, laitance, dust or curing agents.
• Steel should be abraded, and concrete should preferably be abrasive blasted, etched or scabbled to remove laitance and expose firm aggregate. Remove dust with compressed air or vacuum

Patching of concrete, bonding of horizontal starter bars and dowel bars, and as a general-purpose adhesive and filler.  

 Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with Urochem 901. Once the Epoxy has set it may only be removed mechanically.

• Urochem 305 is supplied in a two-part kit, base, and activator in separate tins.
• Transfer the total quantity of activator into the base component and mix thoroughly using a slow speed electric drill fitted with a flat blade stirrer.
• Scrape down the sides of the can and the base and remix until the colour is uniform and free from streaks.
•  Thorough mixing is essential and should take 5 to 10 minutes.
