Urochem 106
EPOXY DAMP SURFACE PRIMER
DESCRIPTION
Urochem 106 is a two-part moisture tolerant primer that has a long open time, for use on damp substrates.
APPLICATION
Particular attention should be paid to any voids and hollows. Allow at least 30 minutes for the solvent to evaporate before applying the topcoat. If after 3 hours or once the primer has lost its tack, re-prime before applying topcoat. Protect the primed surface from dust or dirt, which could settle and interfere with the adhesion of subsequent coats.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
Its main application is as a primer coat for use with Urochem polyurethane and epoxy compounds where the substrate is still damp.
CLEANING
Clean brushes after use with Urochem 901. Once cured the primer may only be removed mechanically.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Ensure all surfaces to be primed are clean, sound, and free of standing water. Laitance or surface contamination should be removed by thorough wire brushing, surface grinding or grit blasting.
- Vacuum or blow with compressed air to ensure thorough removal of dirt.
SAFETY
Contains organic solvents which are flammable. Do not use in confined spaces. Ensure adequate ventilation and the absence of any ignition source. Wear protective clothing. In case of eye contact wash well with water and obtain medical advice.
Please refer to product MSDS for further information.
