EPOXY ENAMEL PAINT

DESCRIPTION

Urochem 306 is a high gloss twin pack epoxy enamel paint which provides a tough chemical resistant easily cleaned surface, which once cured, is non-toxic.  

APPLICATION

The product is mixed as supplied with a low-speed mixer and a flat paddle until streak free and homogeneous. The product is then poured into paint trays and applied by roller or brush.

PRIMING

• Prime steel with Urochem 617 Zinc Rich Primer.

• Prime concrete with Urochem 307 clear.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

Urochem 306 is used as a surface coating for floors, concrete surfaces, machinery, pipes, ablution blocks, hospitals, schools etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION
  • All surfaces to be clean, sound, and dry and free of loose material. Remove dust, laitance, and oils from the substrate before coating commences.
  • Prime if required to achieve a smooth finish – Contact Urochem representative.
SAFETY
  • Contains organic solvents which are flammable. Do not use in confined spaces. Ensure adequate ventilation and the absence of any ignition source. Wear protective clothing. In case of eye contact wash well with water and obtain medical advice.

CLEANING

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with Urochem 901 as the cured material is very difficult to remove.

MIXING
  • Urochem 306 is supplied in a two-part kit, base, and activator in separate tins.
  • Transfer the total quantity of activator into the base component and mix thoroughly using a slow speed electric drill fitted with a flat blade stirrer.
  • Scrape down the sides of the can and the base and remix until the colour is uniform and free from streaks.
  • Thorough mixing is essential and should take 5 to 10 minutes
