Urochem 304
1MM SOLVENT FREE EPOXY COATING
DESCRIPTION
Urochem 304 is a twin pack, solvent free, epoxy coating cured with a cycloaliphatic cross-linking agent. It is designed to provide a decorative and protective surface to concrete, asbestos cement, steel, and fibreglass. When applied to floors it forms a permanent, hard wearing chemical resistant finish, suitable for pedestrian and rubber wheeled traffic. Urochem 304 provides resistance to moderately aggressive acids and alkalis and excellent resistance to oils and petrol. It is characterised by good abrasion resistance and ease of cleaning.
SURFACE PREPARATION
• As with all epoxy systems, surface preparation is of prime importance. For concrete surfaces, remove all grease, oil, dust, laitance, etc., ensuring the substrate is clean, sound, and dry.
• Where required, cut back to a sound substrate before undertaking any remedial repairs with Urochem 305 Epoxy Patching Compound. Wire brushing, acid etching, sand or highpressure water blasting may be required to remove any laitance and or curing compounds. Attention to blowholes and omegas is essential for the satisfactory performance of the coating.
• Steel surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of grease, oils, and mill-scale.
PRIMING
• Prime steel with Urochem 617 Zinc Rich Primer.
• Prime concrete with Urochem 307 clear.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
